Parade

Notice: Parade will continue on the regular route!

Despite an earlier announcement regarding the parade, it will proceed on Saturday on the usual route through Kinmount.

Entrants should gather at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Kinmount Heritage Museum (the Railway Station) in downtown Kinmount. Judging begins at 11:15 a.m. Entrants must obtain a parade number from the Parade Marshall and parade back to the fairgrounds. The parade will start at 12:00 p.m. sharp.

The parade route begins at the intersection of Monck Road and Kawartha Lakes Road 121. The parade travels south along the 121, across the bridge and then turns left onto Haliburton County Road 503. Continuing up the hill, the parade heads east on the 503 until reaching the main gate of the fairgrounds, at which point the parade enters the grounds and continues to the Grandstand, where entrants will be announced and ribbons presented.

Prizes: 1st: $25, 2nd: $20, 3rd: $15, 4th: $10, Others: $8
