Updated for 2020
Chair: Emily Pearson
Rules for all Junior Division Classes
- Each exhibitor may enter only once in each section.
- Exhibits must be the new work of the exhibitor.
- Articles should be entered according to the grade the student was in as of June 15.
- Exhibitors may show in a higher grade level, but not lower.
- If there are more than six (6) entries in any one section, a 4th prize will be awarded, the same as a 3rd.
- Read carefully what is required. Not following instructions may result in disqualification or a lower placement. Size restrictions will be strictly adhered to.
- Articles will be judged as the product of youth…not as perfect works of art. In other words, items will be judged first on creativity.
- Originality and effort are as important as workmanship.
- Parental supervision is encouraged, but all work must be done by the child.
Note: 22cmx28cm = 8.5”x11” = Letter size, 30cmx45cm = 12”x18”
Important note for Junior Exhibitors: You can pick up your prize winnings starting on Friday of the Fair, at the Secretary’s Office. Prizes in all Junior Division Classes will be available until Sunday at 5 p.m. in the Secretary’s Office.
