Come To The Fair! Labour Day Weekend
August 29, 30 & 31, 2008

Trailer Park

Have you ever been at an event where you were having so much fun, that you didn't want to go home? That feeling is present each and every year, at the Kinmount Fair. Our in-grounds trailer park lets you camp out for the whole week

In the late 1970's a couple of our directors brought a trailer to the fairgrounds to use as a home base. The board decided to make an area for others that felt the same way. Thus, our trailer park was born.

Each year, people return and bring more friends to join our little community. Many families book their holidays for this time. The park has grown with the fair and can now accommodate over 500 trailers. Some campers travel hundreds of miles to get here and others are locals who just love camping at the fair. We are here to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It is a place where you set your own pace. You are given an event schedule, you pick the things you want to see, and in between, you can relax at your home away from home. During the day, people come and go, not wanting to miss their favorite shows, like the nearby amateur contest, the livestock shows and the always popular demolition derby & tractor pulls. If you get tired, come back under the pines and have a break. In our community within a community, families and friends unite. As night falls, the park is filled with music and laughter as campers circle around crackling campfires.

As our fair has grown, families have grown with us. We have watched children grow from babies to young adults. Some are now bringing their own children. I am sure that as we work together, this wonderful fair will continue to flourish for many more generations. Year after year, we welcome friends, old and new. It is a family event that ends your summer in the best way possible.

It is a time and place where everyone is family. So come, join in, take a load off, and stay for a bit. We've got everything you need... at the Kinmount Fair!!
