This is a special year in Canadian Heritage. Canada is celebrating its sesquicentennial! This once-in-a-lifetime event is the theme of the Heritage Display for 2017.

The Heritage Display will present a number of displays, attractions and events to celebrate this event.

These include:

  • Friends of Galway (FOG) display of Galway Township History
  • Native artifacts
  • Pioneer Crafts
  • Historical book launch: "Social History of Old Victoria County"
  • Salute to Vimy Ridge
  • History of Kinmount Fair
  • Various Historical Societies
  • Family Geneology Research station
  • Trappers fur display
  • And many more special displays!

The Tea Garden will serve home baked goodies and features our ever popular Tea Garden Stage with various acts. (Schedule to be announced later)

The Pioneer Society will also host a Canadian Scavenger Hunt for children. Surprise "treat" for all participants.
